We're Back......

After a very short summer...we're back in class together. So far the looping experiment is simply marvelous! The kids are back to work and no endless practicing of every class routine. They feel so comfortable with one another and no one had back to school jitters! A taller picture of this year's third graders!

Hunter got to pretend he was badly injured to participate in the National Search and Rescue competition. He's actually just fine!

A Keesha update...

The first picture is of the day Keesha was baptized. She was baptized on Saturday May 31st by her dad Travis Weston.

This is Keesha and her brother's puppy named "Diamond". Keesha wanted to post this picture because she didn't get to bring Diamond to school on pet day.

The Public Library!

Starting now, we'll be taking a weekly trip to the public library. Watch for paperwork about getting your child a library card, if they don't have one yet.We love the library!

We've Made It to 100 Days of SCHOOL!

St. Patricks Day- it all about the green!

We did a bit of science- SLIME! Some Lucky Charms math including graphing, addition and subtraction... A little art (some charming leprechauns), some ABC order, a bit of non-standard measuring(With pickles!), more measuring of giant steps, 2nd grader steps, and leprechaun steps, and some lunch math, figuring out the cost of lunch for 2 days, a week, etc... And we're proud to report that not one student got pinched!

Okay- the camera and the Internet are both working today...so we're back! Let's hope we can get back in the habit of writing to you.



We bid a sad farewell to Jordan Beth recently. She cried, teacher cried, the kids cried- it was tragic!

Cissly, being a leap year baby, turned 2 on February 29th! Happy Birthday! (For the second actual time)
